Welcome to our new members inducted to STTI Zeta Mu At-Large.
Our induction ceremony on April 16h at Founders Chapel on the campus of USD was a lovely event and if you attended, I hope you enjoyed it.
I encourage you to spend some time at the STTI website, nursingsociety.org as well as the Zeta Mu At-Large site www.sttizetamu.org to learn what your membership in this organization and this chapter has to offer you. A wonderful thing about STTI is that there are opportunities for everyone, regardless of your level of experience or area of interest.
I also want to remind you that there are scholarships and grants available and the application deadline of May 1st is fast approaching.
There are $1,000 grants available for research or evidence-based practice projects and there are $ 750 academic tuition scholarship available.
As a reminder to all members, there is a $2,000 grant available to support presentation of work.
If you can use some money, do not let these opportunities slip by. The applications are on the Zeta Mu At-Large website, www.sttizetamu.org .
Again, welcome to STTI. If you have any questions about your membership or the how to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the board.
