I am Tim Cotita, President of the Lambda Mu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing.

The vision of the Honor Society of Nursing is to create a global community of nurses who lead by using knowledge, scholarship, and service to improve the health of the world’s people. I sincerely hope that exemplary professional nurses in Northeast Louisiana will invest their time and talent as active members of our organization. All of the chapter leaders will be working diligently this year to recruit and retain members by assuring that your membership is a valuable part of your professional growth.

  • Chapter Meeting 1/23/17 at 6:30 pm

    Join us at Catfish Cabin 1400 Louisville Ave. Monroe, LA. There will be a brief business meeting and a presentation by Lisa Smart on Hypertension Medication Non-Compliance in African American Men. Meeting begins at 6:30 pm.

  • November Meeting Save the Date

    Mark your calendar for the November meeting!
    November 14th, 6:30 - 8:00 at Catfish Charlie's on Louisville Ave. Sherry Peveto will present her DNP research project titled "Incivility in Nursing".

  • October 10th Monthly Meeting

    Please join the Lambda Mu Chapter for our monthly meeting at Monjunie's on North 18th: Monday, October 10th from 6:30-8:00 pm.
    Our president, Tim Cotita, will be presenting "Moral Distress in Nursing". We hope to see you there!


    I regret today's business meeting scheduled to be held at St' Francis Medical Center is cancelled. This will allow members affected by flooding to take care of important concerns. Please check back for rescheduled meeting date, time, location.
